Blowback and Ron Paul

The American people find themselves with a war they really do not want. We were sold this war on a bunch of lies and now find ourselves tangled in a spider's web. The more we involve ourselves, the more difficult it seems to extricate ourselves.

What we as a people need to understand is that the United State government has created this situation. I invite you to look at this chronology of US involvement in Iraq and ask yourself this one question, if the US had not supplied Iraq with weapons starting in 1983 (in violation of the Arms Export Control Act), and then continued with its deadly dance with Saddam Hussein, would we be here today? Personally I think not.

The only candidate with the courage to say the same thing is Republican Ron Paul.
I haven't decided 100% if I will support the man, but I will say this, it sure is refreshing to hear a politician speaking the truth, for once!

Although, I was more impressed with his performance on Bill Maher and in the Republican debates. Why? Although not polished, the man doesn't play to the crowd for applause. He sticks to his guns, sticks to his principles and actually makes sense. I may not agree with him 100% on everything, but I have to respect the message.
